Getaway Day For Keller

Little Dude hitched a ride and got out of the hospital today. Thank goodness. The docs were acting like they wanted him to hang under the biliruben lights a little more.  Goph and Rhi took him to the house.  I suggested to them that they should not let him know they had a room set up for him. What us more Experienced Parents know is that as soon as kids figure out you’ve got a place for them all set up, they start to get cocky. I think the picture below makes my point. Look at him. Just snoozing like he doesn’t have a care in the world. Four days old and still no gig. He’s acting like a Cowboys fan or something. (Just kidding, Uncles Dyl and Reid!)

Congrats to the parents and grandparents! We both concur that he’s a very handsome little fellow.

Arm outstretched, with an aura of calmness and confidence, he seems fully prepared with great honor to accept the passing of the book of “The Keeper of the Winds.”

…. and those cheeks are not safe from Judi’s kitchy kitchy coo.

Thanks Bill and Judi — hard for me to agree more. :-)
