Marcy Chapin-Mann
My friend Marcy Chapin-Mann, 34, of Mechanicsville, VA. passed away May 19, 2011 after a heroic battle with cancer. She is survived by her equally heroic husband Robert Mann and very young sons Ryan and Carter Mann.

For five years, I teased Marcy by calling her ‘MarshaManns’…and constantly asked her husband Robert to tell her I said, “Hey Baby” in a Barry White voice. She always got a giggle and played right along. The last message she asked Robert to relay to me a few days ago from her hospital room was, “Hey Baby.” Made me happy. I’m so glad that my young friend MarshaManns is happy, whole, and one hundred percent free of fear and pain.
